British association of social workers website
Web Page
More a professionals website that a resource. It has no useful articles (though does link to the British journal of social work) and its links page is a bit hit and miss (ASBOwatch as its first link). It does present its detailed code of ethics in a readable format.

A website blog dedicated entirely to podcasts on topics of social work. The podcasts take the form of interviews with leading practitioners and cover a diverse and interesting range of subjects from supervision to Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. This is a new resource that should grow more and more confident and interesting as it establishes itself.

(caution) This is not a recommendation of this website but it is worth a look as counterpoint to prevailing views. The website purports to be a radical reassessment of social work values, mostly seeking to re-align them with a socialist agenda. The website provides a series of muddled and bombastic articles on social work topics that provide endless accusations of corporate and government cynicism without ever being so bold as to field alternatives to prevailing approaches. The counterpoint is useful but we'll continue to look out for a more articulate presentation of these ideas.
